Week 4 Reflections

-got to 40 miles again this week...pretty good for this time of year for me

-very pleased with my speedworkout on Wednesday (1200s) and my long run yesterday

-although I'm not following a training plan per se, I'm really trying to stick to JD's charts/formulae...really want to make sure I'm running quality stuff, esp. w/ regards to pace--not too fast or too slow---no getting stuck in "no man's land" and no chasing miles just because!

-Mason got pissed at me today because we had made tentative plans to run a mile together (at the end of my run). Unfortunately, he wasn't around when I went out. He got really upset and asked me "How am I supposed to run Aunt Tammy's race {4/3/11} if I can't train, Dad?!?!?"....I'm not sure if this makes me happy or worried or what... :)

- NEG.

-stretch more...I rarely do at all (except when I'm sore/tight) and this is probably not good for me.

-gluttonous, disgusting, Notorious B.I.G.-like behavior (beer and junk). Feeling pretty damn fat! Salads don't negate the gangsta lifestyle. Get yo' shit togetha Muddy!!!!

- Mason got pissed at me today

- Super 5k is next Sunday. Being that I'm not a "real runner", do I skip the speed workout this coming week and count the race as speed or should I do something on Wednesday and just take a day or two off before Sunday?

R.I.P. Old Blog

Due to an unfortunate error on my part (linking my old blog with a user profile that had my real name on there), a LARGE group of students at a certain high school have now "found" Mr.__________'s blog. Just checked the stats on the old site and had almost 100 views yesterday. Now I know my followers may enjoy checking on my running progress from time to time, but I doubt that many people give a shit about my split times.

I was actually informed by another teacher that several students have come to her concerned about the lewd content on the blog. She said it has blown up in the last 24 hours. Unfortunately, this is not the viral that I was hoping for.

So, it is with a heavy heart that I have to start this blog instead. My alter ego, Muddy Puddin' will gladly step in. He's up for the challenge.

Friggin' kids..........
